Save Thomas Cook

0 have signed. Let’s get to 15,000!

The initial cost to the tax payer of £600m if Thomas Cook is not saved is only a fraction of the full cost. The Government needs to step in and give the £200 million needed and save the tax payer at least £400 million!

If TC collapses handling agents, airport staff, small tour operators, independent travel agents, supply chain staff, hotel staff will also go down costing the UK millions in lost tax revenue plus benefits. At least 165 independent travel agents will cease trading as well.

Resorts in countries like Turkey, Egypt, Cuba will be devastated by loss of visitors, hotel staff will lose jobs, hotels will go bankrupt. This isn't just about a small blip. This will cause real difficulties well beyond TC staff and the UK.

Ironically it is the tax payer funded RBS who is refusing to play ball - yip the bank that took millions from the tax payer now won't save the tax payer a massive huge bill.
