In light of the corona virus outbreak it is evident that all humans over the age of 65 are at risk of serious illness or death due to these types of viral infections and how can people be expected to continue to work into there 70s with the very true possibilities of not enjoying a threat free retirement due to modern day science and meddling with nature creating strains of deadly viruses I believe and I’m sure the majority of working people in the UK will back me that a retirement age of 65 is more than reasonable for a person who has worked and paid in to the system for 49 whole years or more as most people start to work the day you leave school as parents and guardians no longer get any extra help after children reach this age i feel that it’s our countries duty to give back to the people who have worked so hard to keep the country running for the best part of 50 years I personally think that if you have paid in then it should be given back it was set at age 65 for a very long time and it enabled people to look forward to a reasonably healthy retirement to enjoy life and spend time just living with family and enjoying the later years stress free without having to worry about answering to an employer and being dictated to waiting for a virus to take your life away before you have had a chance to enjoy a resting retirement
