Baroness Lawerence should have her award removed for her blatant racist remarks that she has made regarding the Grenfal Tower fire and the firefighters actions. The fire service personnel along with every member of all of the emergency services act without regard for colour or creed often despite their own safety. So to suggest that if there was more white people in the tower that the fire brigade would of tried harder to save lives is a total and blatant racist remark and goes to show that although someone thought it was a good idea to give this woman a baroness title because her son was killed by white racists, some awards need a lot more thought.

We need to not only look at this title award but also what the titles are given out for and if it is deserving or just a knee jerk reaction. 

Both my father and father in-law was firefighters both who managed to live past their firefighting but there has been so many that have given their lives in the cause of saving others. The biggest loss of firefighters in the world was on 9/11 when terrorists flew planes into the twin towers and never was it suggested that any of the brave men and ladies of the fire service would of acted in any other way. But this woman can say such a thing without being brought to task is beyond me.
