REFORM BRITAIN’S EDUCATION SYSTEM: WHY ARE CURRICULUMS STILL FAILING BLACK STUDENTS?

Racist ideologies and behaviours can no longer continue to threaten the lives of our black communities across the U.K.

Too often, racist behaviours and misconceptions of our black communities stem from uneducated members of the public. We absolutely need and deserve a radical change in the way we educate Britain to ensure the safety of our black communities.

The Department for Education is responsible for ensuring the curriculums across Britain work alongside the Equality Act 2010 - this is the BARE MINIMUM IN PREVENTING RACIST IDEALS.
Our curriculum continues to ensure that black culture has no place in British schools, allowing for intolerance and discrimination to thrive.
We must put pressure on the Department for Education and ask them to reform British curriculums.

WE NEED AN EDUCATION SYSTEM THAT ACTIVELY ENCOURAGES THE CELEBRATION OF BLACK CULTURE.
WE NEED AN EDUCATION SYSTEM THAT TAKES PART IN DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS SURROUNDING BLACK HISTORY AND RACIAL INEQUALITY.

WHY is our curriculum still predominantly concerned with white culture and history?

WHY are our black academics being failed by schools across Britain STILL?

WE CANNOT SETTLE FOR BRITAIN WHITEWASHING SCHOOL CURRICULUMS IN 2020.

IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE.
