The President of the United States (Donald Trump) retweeted this morning the following videos from Jayda Fransen, the Deputy Leader of Britain First.

This is the same British-based hate group whose member was responsible for the assassination of Jo Cox, the Member of Parliament for Batley and Spen.

Whether his intention, or through a lack of education or awareness, the President of the United States has tacitly endorsed a group whose members have killed members of Parliament in the UK. This is an attack on British Democracy and should be understood fully in terms of the context that it deserves.

The President of the United States of America (POTUS) is attempting to full discord and draw lines between people in his own country and is now attempting to do so either deliberately, or as a consequence of his own domestic issues, here in the UK. It is a direct threat to our sovereignty. POTUS needs to understand that there are international consequences to his decision making and that the UK will continue to stand at the forefront of decency, tolerance and understanding.

I invite all citizens of the United Kingdom to request that the UK Parliament request a full apology from the President of the United States before further contact between out countries continues.
