Natalie Donaldson started this petition to UK Parliament and

Stop the sharing of images and videos of the deceased (dead persons) by unauthorised personnel. We live in an age where a camara is at our finger tip and it is far too easy to upload images of dead people on various social media sites. In the past couple of years there has been a rise in the number of YouTube bloggers who are posting more and more graphic images of the dead in order to get views and likes. This utterly distressing to the family's of the deceased. In some incidents there is a need to record and share certain things with the general public. However we need to have a clear distinction between sharing content to inform the general public and sharing content for views and likes or for monetary gains. It is so sad that in this day and age the dead is treated with such indignity. Social media won't allow the dead to rest in peace. I am speaking from  personal experience I have identified images and videos of a deceased family member in a compromising position. I have made numerous complaints but the videos and images are still up for the world to see. Please sign my petition to help stop the sharing of images and videos of the dead on social media.
