Adrian Bradshaw started this petition to UK Parliament

Our Prime Minister has been selected by 92,153 Conservative members, (out of a total membership of 180,000 and a total electorate of about 45,775,800 (ONS - 22.3.19)) This small group of Conservative collectively accounts for 0.13 per cent of the British population. (New Statesman 23.7.19) His policies and Cabinet collectively mark a significant shift to the right of British politics which is more likely than not, to damage this country and its people and the prospects of all future generations.

I suggest that this situation be eliminated in the future by electoral and Paliamentary reform requiring that, if a Prime minister is forced to resign, the whole electorate must be allowed to;

  • Either vote for a potential replacement from the current Government,

Or,

  • To be given the choice of a different Government by means of a general election.

If a suitable candidate receives less than 50% of votes cast, then a general election must be called.

As you are significantly affected by all Governments,  it is in your and your children's best interests to secure stable leadership of the UK .
