In a 21st Century world with all its advancements in technology, we have forgotten one small but very iconic symbol in society. Not just in the UK, but across the world - the poppy.

With the poppy being a symbol of Remembrance for the soldiers who have died since the first world war, people have always paid tribute. But with this being such an important part of our history, why isn't there an emoji there on our phones to commemorate it?

With the younger generations using their phones and emojis more and more nowadays, it's very important for them to learn about the importance of this little flower, and in turn cement with them the importance of Remembrance.

With enough support on this petition, myself and my brother hope to get some of the biggest names in social media and phone companies, to make a difference and add this symbol of Remembrance and respect into our everyday lives more often.
