Why this petition matters

Started by padda brewster

The majority of key workers, eg. supermarket delivery drivers, those caring for elderly and vulnerable people, care home workers, are paid minimum wage which is less than £9 per hour to help keep the country running at a time of need.

I propose that all key workers should have an hourly rate of £10.75 that would bring them up to around £20,000 per year salary, as a thank you for putting their own lives on the line for us.
