The government is making us look like fools. They had parties as we mourned our love ones, they celebrated as our NHS was decimated by a pandemic, they laugh in videos as we still cry over the loss of our family and friends. And now the Metropolitan Police say there is a lack of evidence over parties held at number 10 even though the gates are monitored by the police and names are taken for every person attending. It is completely and categorically unacceptable that this government remains in power as it breaks the laws that is makes for the rest of the population. It is unbelievable that they believe that us commoners should be maintained under law of covid while they hold the laws made in contempt. The UK government and the devolved governments should fully investigate this diabolical breach of covid rules and standards that completely undermines the sheer determination, hard work, and sacrifice that this country has given. It is time this government was held to account.
