My friend has been sexually assaulted, FINALLY a court case is happening to try and convict the boy that did this. 

She has just been asked to give her phone as evidence. We have researched why phones may be used in these types of cases and have discovered that if she talks about drinking, taking drugs, having sex with other people or simply being on tinder this may prove the innocence of the boy who did this to her. She has tried to move on with her life, move on from this horrific thing that haunts her and for that’s she may be punished and the boy who did this may get away it. 

Out of every 1000 cases of sexual assault only 4.6 abusers go to jail. Reasons like this may be the reason why. Why should someone trying to get over a horrible ordeal and performing what’s seen as normal acts allow their abuser go free and what happened to them seem any less valid.
