Northern Ireland has a strict law of the power in airsoft guns, they must not exceed 328fps and this goes for all guns, whether they be gas, electric, co2 or spring. This petition is to change the power allowed in spring powered sniper rifles as 328fps with 0.20g plastic pellets, the smallest bit of wind takes it off course. All insured airsoft sites in NI could or already have a minimum engagement distance to avoid injury for such high power. This patition is to keep indoor fps limit to 328fps on 0.20g plastic pellets and 350fps outdoors for AEG (airsoft electric guns) and gas powered pistols, as for spring powered airsoft snipers to be raised to the same limit as the uk mainland with of course the same engagement distance to make sure no one can get hurt.

I have made this petition because airsoft is becoming a more popular sport in this country and more and more people are joining every year, male and females, as for the players that want the sniper role they can not enjoy it as the fps limits are to low to shoot from range
