No aid for corporate tax dodgers
No aid for corporate tax dodgers

During this period of national emergency the Government has rightly identified that many businesses will need aid to survive. It is important that those businesses which do not pay UK tax to HMRC understand the consequences of their decision to withdraw from contributing to the well being of the UK economy. This petition calls on the Government to withhold assistance from companies that have domiciled outside mainland UK for tax purposes unless those companies undertake one of the following a) move their businesses to within the UK for tax purposes (for a minimum of 25 years), b) guarantee to repay all assistance within seven years or c) if they are a viable company they are are nationalised for the cost of assistance.
This petition notes that any company that does not usually contribute to the overall well-being of the nation should not have recourse to that nation's resources in times of need. This petition further notes that any company that has paid zero or negative tax is a drain on the collective good of the nation and should not be allowed to be a further drain by being given assistance in our countries time of need.
Say no to subsidising tax avoiders like BT and Virgin Atlantic. Can't pay your taxes can't have a bailout. No free lunch for corporate tax avoiders.
