I was thinking it would be good with how important the environment is that getting in a new law for the country stating that where the most environmentally friendly option is available that this route should be the action taken in all matters unless it can be evidenced that this route would be significantly unreasonable. This would then be applicable to everything, all businesses, individuals and organisations. There would be remedial penalties if any were to take the route that wasn't the environmentally positive path.
