Two key updates for the Bereavement Standard
Sep 10, 2020 —
Today we held our 2nd Bereavement Standard Working Group session - aimed at drawing up a new set of rules to streamline the account closure process. Thanks to everyone who completed the Bereavement Standard survey - we ended up with 1,288 responses, allowing us to accurately represent 'the voice of the customer' to the mix of companies, regulators, parliamentarians and charities who participated. Thanks also to the 57 cross industry registrants, who continue to put their support behind this: it's great to see things moving forwards.
In addition, our early day motion (EDM #818) was discussed in the House of Commons today. Watch an 80 second clip of that happening here.
We do need more MPs to sign this EDM (particularly from the Conservative party), so please get in touch if you’d like our template to write to your own MP.
Thanks as always for the support.
