Why this petition matters

Started by Matthew Donovan

October is Eczema awareness month.

As someone that has struggled with it since birth, it can be really dibilitating, but has never even been considering as a potential disability.

It is my hope that I can not only inform of the life changing affects Eczema can have, but also get it recognized as a disease that can be dibilitating at its best.

The stigma behind Eczema being contagious is completely wrong, and the ways in which it affects each individual are seriously misunderstood.

Something needs to be done, more research, better understanding, and a better classification of a disease that has life altering symptoms.

Please sign, and help me get some kind of recognition for this disease, if not for myself, but for the children currently struggling with it, who don't understand what is happening to their body, and why it isn't so easy to cure.
