Once again we have had a concentrated three days of significant bangs from fireworks. Our dogs have been traumatised yet again. It is high time the Government enacted a law to limit the use of fireworks to licenced events on specific days of the year. Under that licence the fireworks must be purchased from the manufacturers and not be on sale to the general public. Breaches of the law will be subject to custodial sentences for those in breach.
