I believe cannabis should be legalised, keeping rules similar to the use of alcohol so that it’s usage is still safe. Legalising it would bring out health benefits (for a type 1 diabetic like myself, it helps to regulate blood sugars), reduce crime ratings and allow people to enjoy themselves (like with drinking alcohol).

It would also be a good income for the government as it can be taxed etc.

Another argument is that alcohol is a poison to the body and can cause people to be violent, yet is legal. Whereas cannabis relaxes people and doesn’t make you at all violent, yet is illegal.

Legalising cannabis does nobody any harm, let’s make it better.
