Due to the recent changes in England and "Lockdown 2.0" being implemented, many sectors are being affected.

Our government promised that education would not be affected by the new lockdown however university students all over the UK are receiving very different standards of education to what is expected.

Students training to be healthcare professionals are the future of our NHS and it is so important that their education isn't affected. Many healthcare professions require students to meet criteria as per their governing body which includes completing so many hours in clinical placement - the number of hours dependant on the profession. Requirements are not limited to completing so many placement hours however this is a huge contributing factor.

Quality of teaching and teaching materials SHOULD NOT be impacted yet many students are finding themselves paying over £9,000 per year in tuition fees to recieve sub-standard learning materials and lectures. 

Many of us believe that our courses should proceed as normal, or as normal as possible, perhaps with reasonable adjustments such as smaller class sizes. This will allow us to provide quality care in the future and also meet any requirements needed to qualify. Many of us are finding that important training is being cancelled and postponed, which should not be the case under government guidance.
