Borderline personality disorder is a serious mental disorder marked by a pattern of ongoing instability in moods, behaviour, self-image and functioning. These experiences often result in impulsive actions and unstable relationships. Often, because of the impulsivity of borderline personality, mental health professionals are not keen to work with clients with this condition. Many are seen as attention seekers, a waste of time, money and resources. There are so many people, out there, with the condition and instead of just applying a 'sticking plaster' such as crisis admissions and medications, for temporary relief of symptoms, why not make proved, long-term therapy, like psychotherapy, readily available for such individuals, actually saving money in the long run. Most people, with the condition are warm-hearted, kind individuals who are struggling with a disorder that they have, through no fault of there own. Please, please sign the petition.
