It has become a recent TikTok trend for children to throw fireworks at people and into people’s homes. I have personally seen two people lose their homes due to fireworks being thrown onto their balconies, we have all seen the catastrophic affect of house fires with Grenfell, thankfully these people did not lose their lives but, the outcome could have been far more devastating. Although you have to be 18years old to buy fireworks, evidently these children are still managing to get hold of them. Fireworks are fire and the effects can be devastating if mishandled or used by the wrong people. That is why we wanted to start a petition to ban fireworks for personal use, they should only be sold to and handled by professional handlers.
