Equal Pay for Young People!

I feel very passionately about the issue facing employed young people, relating to minimum wage payment. I believe in equality and that age shouldn't determine your income, but rather the quality of work you give.
Someone could be sixteen years of age, have a partner and children to support, as well as many things they wish to save up for that will benefit their future; this person could be on a minimum wage of £4.05 an hour, where as someone working the same job who only needs to look after them self and has little to save for could be getting payed almost twice as much, just because they are nine years older, quality of work discarded.
To me this is nothing short of age discrimination, which I believe shouldn't have a place in modern society. I think it's about time that the minimum wage be the same for everyone. If you agree with my point of view, then please sign this petition. Thank you for your time.
