Cyclists onto the path and off the road

Support the decision to move cyclists from the roads to the paths. Just over 100 cyclists die a year from road traffic incidents and over 3,000 are seriously injured on the roads in the U.K. However if cyclists are moved to the path what will happen if a cyclists hit a pedestrian? A few cuts and bruises, the odds are significantly lower that someone would die. Take the time and money to add more cycle paths, and the rule that a bicycle is a vehicle, therefore does belong on the road however we can take better steps in making separate cycle roads like they already do in Germany. We will save life's and in the long run save money on treating cycle accidents.
