Why this petition matters

- With COVID-19 upon us, businesses are already starting to feel the inevitable financial effects. Business owners are already putting plans in place to reduce overheads. The knock on effect is that we are all likely to feel the pinch very soon. We therefore need a reduction in our domestic overheads. We call upon our government to work with all utility companies to allow those in financial hardship to freeze payments for gas, electricity and water for up to 6 months.
