I would like to see a change to the Theory Test Certificate expiring. No other qualifications expire where you have to resit, you may have to do something extra but do it all over again never happens. Due to Covid there has been a long back log and months upon months waiting times for tests. I failed my driving test in April and had to wait three months before I could resit. I sat it again and had an awful experience with the examiner huffing and puffing as I was taking my time to do a parallel park which led me to be put off and bump the curve resulting in me failing again. My theory runs out in November and I can't even book another test it is currently closed. I can't sign up for any cancellations slots as I do not already have a test booked. I think it's unfair as pre-covid you only had to wait 10 days to resit not months so why do I have my test expire as if I would have took the tests pre-covid. I haven't received the same treatment so I should have my certificate expire in the same way.
