This week Girl Guiding UK have been taking part in an activity called Plastic Free Planet. I am a Rainbows Leader (5-7 years olds). They came up with lots of ideas, but the one they were most enthusiastic about was the bottle deposit scheme.   I remember collecting bottles to take back to the shops and getting 10p per bottle. They would love to do this. We need to stop using single use plastic NOW or the future of these youngsters will be seriously affected.
