As a mother who is in late thirties… and hearing the sad news of Sarah Harding dieing of breast cancer. I  think it’s time the age is lowered. Finding a lump is scary enough. However I feel no woman should have to wait till 50 to be considered to be called for a screening. Cancer doesn’t have a preferred age and if it can be practiced at the age of 18 and three years after this. Why do smear test have a lowered age but breast examining doesn’t? I’ve lost to many people before the age of 50 with breast cancer they are our breasts and we shouldn’t have till we find a lump for them be examined.
