Better opportunities for our teenagers, apprentice's and mandatory mentors

I have seen many people reporting violence & killings on our streets. We as the public and as a parent have had enough of watching these young people waste their lives away. They need help & support.

There are not enough opportunities for our young people. These kids should not be left on the streets to their own devices. After school they should go straight into a work based apprentice and have mandatory mentors.

We have lost a whole generation of youth's through murder's on the street and lot's of the younger ones are in prison completely lost and secluded from society.

The option of controlled physical discipline should be given back to parents

Young offenders should be made to do national service and go through soldier training instead of being sent to jails to become better criminals

Father's should have a duty by law to be involved in the child's life

Music that promotes violence, drugs & murder should be outlawed and removed from all mainstream media

Youth work in in the community should be financed again by the government instead of cut

Mentoring should be made mandatory as well as work placed apprenticeships at school leaver age

Community conflict resolution centres should be opened to find ways to resolve violent situations

Young prisoners currently leaving prison need more support so they don't re-offend
