BBC- Cut Lineker's & other 'stars' salaries to help fund FREE over 75s TV licences

It is truly appalling at a time when the BBC are contemplating removing free TV licences from the over 75s that 'stars' such as Gary Lineker are being paid indecently high and in my opinion unwarranted salaries. The TV set is often the main entertainment for many elderly people and their main contact with the outside world. Many of these people are already under financial pressure while Lineker's BBC fame allows him freedom to earn more money through advertising. Of course Lineker is not the only overpaid 'star' but his forays into going outside his limited area of expertise into political lobbying and him having the highest salary make him a good example of how, in my opinion, the BBC misuses tax payers money. Of course he and others could voluntarily take a pay cut to help fund the FREE over 75 TV licences!
