Perhaps you have been seeing the protests in Colombia. Each day we hear of more protestors killed reported through social media, as the state media is not covering it.

The violence escalated after the ex-president Alvaro Uribe Velez said on twitter that the police should use all force necessary to protect themselves and private property.

This person should NOT be someone we should allow entry to the UK.

Over 6000 people were killed by the state in Colombia from 2002-2008 during the presidency of Alvaro Uribe Velez (also known as 'false positives').

For many years has been accused of a long list of crimes against humanity.

Uribe "Worked for the Medellín Cartel" and was a "Close Personal Friend of Pablo Escobar

He has never been charged with abuse due to many factors. He also is accused of leading the right wing paramilitary and running bases from his private ranch.

Many people have come out against him, but they have all since been killed or went silent.

As a British - Colombian, I urge you to sign this petition to ban entry to this accused mass murdered ALVARO URIBE VELEZ.

This symbolic gesture shows that the UK does not accept crimes against humanity and that we stand in solidary with the people of Colombia.
