Fireworks displays are being set off long before and after Bon Fire Night.  Last night, Saturday the 2nd November 2019, a puppy died of a heart attack due to fireworks being let off in Barnsley.  I have a dog, I live in the country side where there are horses, cattle, dogs, cats, poultry and these animals have been thru a terrifying time and its not over yet.  Fireworks need to be restricted to public displays only run by the local councils, the council can charge for the display and get their money back for the fireworks.  Kids are throwing them at passing cars in parts of Sheffield.  Its not acceptable in any way shape or form.  This needs stopping NOW.  Supermarkets have realised they effects they are having on animals, Sainsburys no longer stocks them, Asda and Morrisons sell less noisy ones, if there is such a thing, our animals should not be subjected to this yearly onslaught, my dog is suffering from anxiety issues because of this and is on medication from the vet.  End the needless sale and use of these products.
