Older drivers are a danger with slow reaction time and distracted minds my dad sold his car when he knew he wasn’t up to it

A little boy walking with his Mum should not died in this way, perhaps over 75 yr olds should b assessed regularly for safe driving

Self regulation of ability to drive is putting lives at risk. There is no way someone who 91 has the ability to react or pre-empt situations quickly enough to take the correct actions. We need to take the decision to driver over the age of 75 out of the drivers hands. This needs to be better regulated.

Another person has died because of someone who has not been proven fit to drive.

My Grampa, who I loved dearly, was allowed to drive with known glaucoma until 92. He never caused anyone any injury but himself when stepping out on black ice and breaking his pelvis, which he sadly never recovered from.

It is hard to believe a 91 year old is still allowed to drive. No matter their mental awareness, but surely their motor skills and reflexes are not up to acceptable driving standards unless properly tested.
