I do not believe that fireworks should be banned for personal use. I believe the law needs to govern who can buy them and where they can be released. I believe that persons under the age of 21 should not be allowed to purchase them. Any person caught to be letting them off in a public place that isn’t a public organised display should be prosecuted. Anyone caught buying a person under the age of 21 or selling to anyone under the age of 21 should be prosecuted. The Guy Fawkes plot is a piece of history and the tradition of celebrating ‘bonfire night’ we have had here in England since 1605 onwards can not be abolished. Fireworks bring so much joy to so many people and I do feel that if stricter laws were in place, we could safe guard everyone without spoiling our centuries long tradition !
