I am sure that we are all aware of the NHS crisis which is occuring in the UK right now but it is paramount that we understand exactly how bad the situation really is before the general election. The regulator NHS Improvement is due to release actual NHS performance data at the end of this month (May 2017). These figures will cover the three months until the end of March and will confirm the deficits for the most recent financial year 2016-2017. Whitehall officials have advised that the release of this information does not take place until after the election. It is important that these figures are released, as expected, for the public to assess the actual predicament of the NHS before deciding who to vote for on 8th June.
