I recently had to put my dog to sleep due to cancer. The vet allowed me to cuddle him for his last moments. I am very grateful for that.

Vet's are there to help and care for animals yet at the time they need comfort the most, it's taken away from them. Awful for owners and dreadful for the pets. Enough PPE for the final moments to be made more comfortable.

Euthanasia is the last thing we can do for our dogs and the less stressful the better. It's also hard enough a decision to make without the added guilt of not being there for them.

This is so important to owners mental health. Please allow this urgently. Animals and owners need to be together in the pets last moments.
