For over 600 days, scientists (and me!) have been asking the government to change the main symptoms in its publicity. The main symptoms now of Delta Variant are:

1. HEADACHE in 73% of people

2. RUNNY NOSE 73%

3. SNEEZING 59%

4. SORE THROAT 53%

5. COUGH 49%

We are totally misguided by this Government entrenchment in the old symptoms. Covid-19 now is more like a cold. The ZOE Symptom Study and Office for National Statistics (ONS) both rate the incidence of Covid at double the numbers that the UK Government is reporting.. We are closer to 100,000 new cases a day compared with the 33,865 that were reported by GovUK for November2nd.
