I am nominating Captain Sir Tom Moore as occupant of the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square. What more fitting a statue could there be in this controversial and prominent position?

A really wonderful man for the world to see in our capitol city

This humble man has become a hero to many, many people.

A great inspiration to future generations, someone truly worth a memorial.

He helped raise millions for NHS charities and was loved by many, many people.
