This government have always said they were unable to remove or lower VAT on gas and electricity because the EU did not allow Governments to take it off and that 5% was the lowest they could go. Well we have now left the EU so let's push this government to do what they have said they would like to do. Let's help stop fuel poverty and scrap the tax on gas and electricity.
