Supercar Lanes across UK

We have been astonished to learn of the closure of Avenue Road in London (and many other major roads in Britain) for road users with the exception of Buses and Cyclists. This “Super highway” Project is in fact allocating tax payers’ money to people who do not pay road tax! Creating a “Super Highway” for cyclists may be a politicaly popular exercise but in fact its discriminatory against “High Octane Road Users”.

As a tax payers who owns a large engine vehicle We pay the highest band of Road Tax and the highest band of Residents Parking and therefore believe us high engine users are entitled to EQUAL treatment as the cyclists. I therefore propose and demand the construction of a Supercar Lane between Swiss Cottage and Mayfair and similar lanes across the capital and nationwide.

The lane should be only for the use of vehicles exceeding 500hp. Lanes should be 1.2 times wider to allow for smooth steering for wider cars such as the Lamborghini Aventador. Naturally speed limits should be set at 50mph, whilst this may seem excessive for the average city driving, it’s simply the case that our vehicles are equipped with superior braking systems that can simply “handle it”. Along the super cars highway we would need pedestrian photo taking spots. There are many car spotters in the capital and their needs should be taken into consideration too.

We understand that our plea may seem a bit unorthodox but in this day and age there should be no place for discrimination against any class of citizens. If cyclists who do not forgo any proper training, done no theory test and pay no road tax are to have their own lane, us supercar users are entitled to equal treatment.
