cats are seen as property of their owners by law, they are not seen as equal to dogs, eg if a dog is injured or killed due to a hit and run, there is consequences, if a cat was injured or killed as a result of a hit and run then nothing is ever done about it, this needs to change, cats are not property, they are pets, the same as dogs and should have the same status is law as dogs have. I'm trying to get as many signatures as possible to make this law changed, to have our cats seen as the same as dogs in law with the same status, they are not property, they are pets that we love and expect the same treatment and classification as dogs.
