Fireworks were once a thrilling experience for many thousands of UK families on the 5th November. Now, however, they are frequently used throughout the year for such things as weddings, birthdays, coming of age etc. Fireworks are now represent an intrusion to family life, particularly those with very young children or animals and for those of a nervous disposition. 
I petition the UK government to legislate against noisy fireworks and propose that we only allow the spectacular display of lights that fireworks do so well. I feel this is a great compromise that will be for the benefit of all.
