Sarah Everard - create lasting legislation that consistently and periodically checks police officers fitness to serve the public. 

Create lasting legislation to protect women and members of the public from predatory police officers. 

Create an independent external body that women and members of the public can report harassment and issues arising from their interaction with the police. 

Make the police accountable for their actions and restore public faith in them. We must never have another appalling tragedy such as this again. This was an isolated incident however in order to maintain faith in the police for all the hard working honest officers out there we need to regulate them.
