Remove Simon Dudley from his role as Windsor Council Leader

Following comments made by Windsor Council Leader, Simon Dudley, BBC Breakfast show reported on Rough Sleepers in Windsor as being either ‘’Aggressive beggars’’ who whilst not actually being homeless, ‘’march tourists to cashpoints’’ demanding cash donations OR people who have ‘’made a life choice’’ to live on the streets sleeping rough, having refused help from the Council.
Mr Dudley urged police to ‘’deal with’’ the rough sleepers in time for the Royal Wedding. He is asking for them to be dealt with as criminals, when the overwhelming evidence from the streets of Windsor, is that those living on the streets are genuinely homeless people who are friendly people, grateful for any help/support they receive from the public, who are desperate for real help, as is the case with THOUSANDS of others across the UK.
Comments like this, from a person in a position of such Power & Influence, are hugely dangerous. His message being reported on the BBC National News could unfortunately lead to a large number of the British public dismissing the Rough Sleepers as bad people who are just out to demand money, and who do not really deserve help. Mr Dudley’s comments broadcast to the nation, have pushed homeless people in the UK further away from getting the help and support they need, and pushed them closer to death!
His hateful comments are scandalous, in fact outright lies, and I am calling for his removal from his role as Windsor Council Leader ASAP!
