On 22nd November 2017 the Conservative Party announced that they would be abolishing, with immediate affect, stamp duty for first time buyers purchasing a property for under £300,000. What about all the other first time buyers who, even just the day before, or in my case, 12 days before, saved up and paid out thousands of pounds for stamp duty? I propose first time buyers who bought a house since the general election 2017 are refunded their stamp duty to be in line with current legislation. Please sign to push this to government.
