Return to wearing face coverings in supermartkets, shop and indoor spaces.

I call upon the UK Government to bring back the legal requirement in England to wear face coverings in shops, supermarkets and indoor spaces, and to align more similarly with the rest of the UK nations.
Despite top NHS doctors warning about the current significant rise in covid infections, hospitalisations and deaths, and also the concerns about a new Delta variant, the government say that it is not time yet to consider bringing back any restrictions. How serious does the situation need to be before they take action?
For most people, wearing a face covering temporarily shouldn't be a big issue. The mandatory requirement in many settings was maintained in all three other nations and there are many people whose jobs require them to spend most of the day wearing one.
I call upon the UK Goverment not to leave it too late to bring back the face coverings requirement and to urgently consider doing this now.
