Waste plastic is the scourge of the worlds oceans at the moment as we have all seen on Blue Planet and other documentaries. 

Yet plastic is made from Oil it has huge calorific value within it there is a new technology that can recover circa 85% or more of that energy as Hydrogen for low carbon fuel and green electricity. 

All it would take is a change in how we deal with waste plastic stop sending it to landfill and stop mass incineration. Instead send it to waste recovery solutions like Powerhouse energies new ultra high temperature thermal conversion technology. There is no chimney it can deal with all waste plastic and end of life tyres. 

It  will produce circa 2 tons of hydrogen per 25 tons of waste plastic. This can be achieved locally where the plastic is discarded and the resulting hydrogen can power local hydrogen clean fuel emission buses or HGV’s or Trains or cars. It can replace diesel and petrol. 

We can offer this technology as a non for profit charity to offer clean green energy for third world countries that have massive waste problems. Citizens who currently scavenge on waste dumps sorting recyclable plastic from tons and tons of trash could just collect all plastic and be rewarded for doing so with education vouchers or food vouchers using blockchain technology to avoid criminal slave labour gangs. 

This technology can help reverse climate change emissions and eliminate waste plastic
