The UK government in 2014 tried to upload the data of ALL UK NHS patients into a centralised data base - it was stopped by the political and public outcry. Under the cover  of the Covid pandemic, they are proposing to harvest this data. Each individual has the right and opportunity to opt out of having the data uploaded, however the deadline for this is 23 June 2021 !! The general public are barely aware of this , it is a clandestine data grab by the UK governent of Orwellian proportions The purpose of harvesting this data can only be for commercial gain . This must be urgently debated in parliament and brought to that attention of the wider public. It is simply unacceptable that this is allowed to go ahaed unchecked.
