The aim of this campaign is to urge the UK Government and associated devolved administrations of the United Kingdom to vaccinate all teenagers aged 12 to 15 who want a vaccine for peace of mind and to protect them & others against coronavirus.

Long COVID is a reality, and severe disease and death are still possibilities in this age group. Limiting transmission is also key, to prevent vaccine-resistant variants emerging from schools.

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved in the UK for 12-15 year olds, but it is not being yet being offered to this age group. A study by Imperial College London (source: https://spiral.imperial.ac.uk/handle/10044/1/89629) has shown that children and teens are more likely to test positive for the Delta variant, which now makes up over 90% of all COVID-19 cases in the UK. This is a virus that is increasingly affecting teenagers, who should not be forgotten about by the government. Sign the petition now.
