janice hughes started this petition to UK Government

I believe The government has put an indefinite ban on zoos to reopen just yet even with safety measures like limited online admissions per day indoor areas closed etc yet allowing public gardens, beaches, garden centres and places like Alton towers for example can reopen

Zoos desperately need the income to preserve and protect animal welfare this is far more urgent than being able to buy plants, animals lives will be endangered without the income visitors bring in.

I urge the government to allow zoos to reopen urgently years of conservation are at risk

If zoos put safety measures in place limited admissions, indoor areas closed no restaurants etc open only outdoor beverage carts hot dog stands and one way system in the shop like we have in supermarkets, hand sanitizer stations placed around the zoo and restricted access in bathrooms then they should be allowed.

Please protect our zoos now
