I'm widowed and lost my husband at 54.  He paid into the STATE PENSION since he was 17 and I get a pittance and now nothing!

I received 18 months at £350 a month and a one-off payment of £3500 to bury him, yet despite 37 working years estimated at 12% pension contribution of his gross income per month, averaged out across those 37 years, the government have taken £135,000 from his salary across those years and given me £9800!

I have a child under 16 when he passed and have to support her with her Education, College, University, clothing etc etc - it all adds up!

This is unjust and daylight robbery - with 000's of people who are receiving benefit, why should Widows or Widowers, especially those who have young children, be penalized?  I would be better off to go on the dole and claim claim claim.  It's not our fault we've been bereaved and yet at such an emotional time we are penalized!

Please support and let's get this highway robbery legislation changed by the overpaid argumentative beurocrats sitting representing US running this Country!
